The Point isn't just a place to sit and stare. Kayak the inlet, hunt for shells on the sandbar, watch pelicans fish at low tide, paddleboard around the tip. There's always something happening out there.
The inlet is calm, sheltered, and full of wildlife. Paddling to The Point from the water side gives you a completely different view — and a much better shot at seeing dolphins.
Coming Soon ShellingThe inlet pulls in shells from both the ocean and the sound side. At low tide the sandbar exposes a constantly refreshed floor. Shark's eye moon snails, lettered olives, scotch bonnets — it's all out there.
Coming Soon SunriseBefore 8am you'll often have the sandbar to yourself. The inlet catches the early light in a way that golden hour in the evening never quite matches. Set the alarm.
